This position, as a program specialist, coordinates the development and maintenance of state level plans, procedures, policies, and supporting documentation for emergency communications systems for the Emergency Management and Homeland Security Division (EMHSD) and provides direction in implementation of emergency communication programs statewide. This position is also responsible for maintenance and coordination of the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) operational readiness procedures as they relate to Emergency Support Function #2 (ESF-2) Communications. Serves as the program coordinator for the statewide public alerting and mass notification system and is responsible for continued maintenance and support of all related training, policies, plans and procedures.
