The CDP Box Truck Driver works with the CDP Leads and the Transportation Logistic/ Supply Chain Manager to plan and execute various pickups & deliveries throughout the organization and assist with the servicing of retail locations with truck deliveries. Additional responsibilities may include working within retail locations and outlets in different capacities. The Driver provides excellent customer service to internal and external people. At times the CDP Box Truck Driver may interact with customers at both residential and commercial pick-up locations while demonstrating exceptional safety in and out of the vehicle. Example Duties and Activities. Safely operates an automatic transmission 26 box truck following all rules of the road. Maintains a clean nonsmoking van that operates by Kaizen standards on a daily basis. Performs light maintenance, replaces fuel tanks, and records safety inspections on the truck.
