Helper Responsibilities:Maintains safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures and policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment as required. Maintains effective communication with other employees, including supervisor/management and during shift changes. Utilizes the application of various machines and equipment in the Finish Dept. including Rotary and Roll Straightening machines (operate only), Tumbling equipment, and Brush Ream machine(s). Assists the Furnace Loading and Unloading Operators, when needed. Posts and records information as needed on traveler tickets and/or daily production sheets. Maintains a neat and orderly work environment. Demonstrates proficiency in the various tasks identified on the machine's training evaluation form. Able to work overtime as business needs require. Cross trains in other areas as needed. General Helper Qualifications:Maintains thorough knowledge of equipment/machine specific SOP's.
