SAS mechanical systems project engineer responsible for code compliance, safety, and system performance for new construction, remodel construction, and sustaining operation evaluation of existing facilities. Role and Responsibilities. Manage site Consultant Design Team to develop, review and approve SAS site Mechanical specifications and design packages for commercial/process systems. Manage Construction General Contractor activities related to new and retrofit construction. Lead strategic fab and support project planning for mechanical systems related to new and retrofit construction. Develop, review, and approve SAS site construction specifications related to mechanical piping, equipment, and the associated distribution rooms and buildings. Provide technical guidance to contracted design teams during facility construction design for review and approval of mechanical connections and materials of construction.
