OF POSITION The Pultrusion Utility Operator is a technical role involving the operation of pultrusion machines. Team members are tasked with ensuring smooth production while maintaining Pella quality standards. These tasks include the rolling, cutting, and splicing of mat material with a sewing machine while maintaining a creel and tying in doffs. Assisting with machine cleanups, setups, troubleshooting, and machine adjustments are important aspects of this position. Attention to detail and monitoring machine performance is a vital part of this role. The ability to use measuring tools on finished product and addressing quality defects is expected. 1st shift: 6:45 am -7:15 pm 3rd shift: 6:45 pm -7:15 am 12-hour shifts 36 hours one week & 48 hours the next week 2 days ON, 2 days OFF, 3 days ON, 2 days OFF New hires will have check-ins at 60 days to ensure they have the support and resources needed for success.
