Pick and deliver drugs to patient care areas, including the restocking of automated medication distribution system components. Perform packaging, manipulative or repetitive tasks relating to the processing of a medication order. Affix required labels upon any container of drug. Prepackage or label multi-dose and single-dose packages of drugs. Perform drug compounding processes. Inspect drug supplies provided and controlled by an Iowa-licensed pharmacy but located or maintained outside the pharmacy department, including but not limited to a hospital patient care unit. Perform pharmacy drug inventory control duties, including checking pharmacy stock shelves for outdated drugs and assisting with annual inventory counts.
