The Traffic/ Transportation Engineer selected for this opportunity will gain key public sector experience in overseeing traffic and transportation related duties that can effectively position you to pursue and obtain key, sought-after public sector jobs. We are looking for an Engineer that has 4 years of experience in engineering, including experience directing the work of others. The position will be on-site and full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) in the Whittier area. Projects may include: Studies - analysis related to signage, striping and signals Traffic Signal Upgrades Project Funding Development from Federal and State Sources Curb Safety Program - ADA and Curb Color Safety Program As a Traffic/ Transportation Engineer, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Supervision of staff and seamless coordination with other City departments to ensure efficient execution of public works projects.
