Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Accurately complete trailer logs and maintain all required DOT and FMCSA documentation in accordance with federal regulations. Local Hauling Operations: Transport 48'-53' semi-trailers over short distances (typically under 20 miles), repeatedly throughout the work shift. Must record movements using Tough. Book and the Shuttle Tote Board. Trailer Spotting: Efficiently position and spot trailers as directed to support yard and warehouse operations. Fueling and Equipment Maintenance: Fuel trucks as necessary and perform routine checks to ensure vehicles remain in safe working condition. Receiving Support: Assist the receiving team with trailer movements or dock-related tasks when requested. Electronic Logging Device (ELD) Use: Operate ELD systems for tracking hours of service and logging trip details when applicable.
