Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations. - Train and evaluate warehouse staff and drivers. - Implement and oversee operational policies and procedures. - Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment and the safety of staff. - Motivate and discipline the staff. - Encourage and monitor safe warehouse practices, identify potential hazards, and notify your direct supervisor of those hazards. - Ensure drivers are performing their duties in accordance with the company policies and procedures. - Maintain documentation and keep accurate records of warehouse activities. - Must be able to maintain a professional and pleasant attitude with customers, co-workers, and vendors. - Maintain awareness and knowledge of the condition and location of fleet vehicles. - Use dispatch software to establish daily truck routes. - Coordinate employee time off and approve timecards. - Perform related tasks as required.
