$18.32/hr to $25.11/hr. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Major functions why this position exists. Performed majority of the time -- please start with the responsibilities that are the most time consuming: - Picks up and delivers specimens, reports, supplies, x-rays and mail to physician offices and other entities while maintaining a schedule and documentation. - Works with the Transportation Coordinator to be sure that route schedules are kept up to date and communicates changes. - Keeps work areas clean and well stocked. Performed occasionally but critical to successful performance of the job: - Follows up all problems or errors by collecting documentation for lab managers. - Assists in reviewing process for improvement. - Participates in training of employees to assure that all transportation staff receives appropriate training and maintain competency. - Participates on hospital committees and transportation teams as needed. - Looks for ways to improve customer service. - Provides input for r...Courier, Transportation, Healthcare, Skills
