EHS Specialist

The Large Power System Division currently seeking an EHS Specialist to serve as an individual contributor on the Environmental, Health and/or Safety (EHS) projects and assignments that support and enhance Caterpillar facility performance and compliance. What you will do: Identify common safety/health/environmental hazards inherent in the organizations operations and establishes guidelines for protection from those hazards. Ensure EHS training is completed to comply with regulatory requirements or in support of facility, division, or enterprise objectives. Audit safety/health/environmental programs for compliance with company standards, government regulations, and adequacy relative to local conditions. Monitor periodic performance reports for trends and conditions and alerts line management to problems. Develop and write safety procedures. Lead and/or participate in incident investigations.
