#x. A 0; Operators are responsible for the operation of rolling mills and secondary equipment used in industry to produce quality metal strip. This includes, but is not limited to, setting up and operating mills and other supporting equipment to meet quality standards and customer specifications of the product. You will work as part of a team, collaborating with other operators and skilled workers. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operating and monitoring production equipment and processes to ensure they are working properly and adjust as needed to keep it operating safely and efficiently without interruptions. Setting up equipment according to product specifications. Monitor production parameters, including gauge thickness, speed, tension, temperature as well as inspection of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and product specifications.
