(): The responsibility of the Janitorial and Laundry Associate is to maintain sanitary conditions and or laundry services in assigned areas of the facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Sweep all walkways. Gather and empty all trash inside and outside of the facility. Clean, service, and supply all restrooms and common areas. Clean inside windows Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming Run floor machine to clean large floor areas. Cleans and maintains offices areas, (sweeping, mopping, dusting furniture and ceiling vents)Clean and maintain cafeteria (sweeping and mopping floors, microwaves, refrigerator, shelving, and empty trash. Takes trash to compactor. Operates laundry machines. Sorts dirty laundry. Sorts and hangs clean smocks. Collects dirty laundry cards around the facility.
