Assist with classroom instruction and management in the absence of a regular Teacher Ensure regular classroom routines are followed Follows and teaches lesson plans Aides students in understanding subject matter Requirements: Certified: Valid NJ CE, CEAS or Standard Teacher Certification; or Valid NJ Substitute Certification Non-Certified: Minimum of 60 college credits needed to obtain substitute certification in NJ Additional information on obtaining a substitute certification can be found on the NJ Department of Education's Website Visit NJED - Cert to apply for certification Valid NJ criminal history letter Negative tuberculosis test obtained within six months of initial employment Candidates are to submit a resume, references, and certifications and apply online via Applicant Tracking by 6/30/2025.
