Collaborating as a member of the Centralized Staffing Office (CSO) to ensure that nursing units have staff dispersed appropriately ensuring patient safety and quality care are available to all needing our services. Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Vocational Nurses participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Licensed Vocational Nurses collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes. Licensed Vocational Nurses effectively interact with patient and significant others, while maintaining the standard of professional nursing. Licensed Vocational Nurses provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients with a predictable outcome based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
