Under the supervision of the Director and/or Staff Pharmacists, fills orders for unit dose, pre-packaged pharmaceuticals, and intravenous solutions in accordance with state and federal codes and regulations. Essential Functions. Assists Pharmacist to prepare and dispense medication. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations, fills bottles with prescribed tablets and capsules, and prepares labels for bottles. Fills orders with correct medications. Prepares unit of use dosage when possible. Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient, computes charges, and enters data in computer.
