Our EVS Tech I is responsible for maintaining hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. This role is essential for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Hours of Shift:3:30 PM - 12:00 AM - Weekends:Every other. FTE:1.0 Qualifications Experience:Previous experience in institutional and/or commercial housekeeping is preferred. Familiarity with waxing and stripping floors is also preferred. Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities/ Working Conditions:Must demonstrate the ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions. Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds is required. Physical demands include repetitive hand motions, walking, standing, and reaching above the head. Potential exposure to infectious diseases, bloodborne pathogens, and body fluids. Occasional exposure to varying temperatures (heat and cold) and humidity, as well as biological hazards.
