LABORER - Automation Personnel Services is looking for a General Laborer for a company based in Kennedy, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a company that plays a pivotal role in the energy field. You will primarily be responsible for ensuring that wooden utility poles meet the proper quality standards and customer specifications. Pay Rate $17.00 to $18.00 per hour. Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 3 30 pm. General Laborer Duties and Responsibilities - Operate equipment and handle material safely to prevent damage to product. - Use industrial drills, chainsaws, and various hand tools to position and prepare utility poles. - Cut flat surfaces on the poles using a portable planer. - Brand customer information into poles. - Perform minor maintenance on the tools and equipment to ensure proper performance. - Place steel beams between layers of poles while being loaded into a dry kiln. - Complete various manual labor tasks. - Follow all safety r...General Labor, Staffing, Automation, Laborer
