The Maintenance Technician contributes to AHF by projecting and integrating our mission and values, to the public through preventative maintenance of both leased and owned properties as well as maintaining property and performing renovations as needed. Plumbing may be required as well. The Maintenance Technician/ Plumber enhances the reputation of AHF by utilizing prior experience and supervisory skills to ensure that all applicable maintenance and renovation work is completed successfully and in a timely manner. Tasks include thread and assemble of new pipe, cut of drill holes in walls or concrete floors to accommodate the passage of pipes, repair and replace fixtures, locate and repair/replace leaking pipes, fit valves, couplings pumps or systems using hand tools, select type and size of pipes, collect and transport materials and equipment to work site.
