You will do: • You will apply hands-on integration and test experience with Fixed Wing UAS rapid development to creatively develop test strategies and plans tailored to the Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team in defining, planning, coordinating, and conducting test and verification events for Fixed Wing UAS.• Stay abreast of development schedules to plan and coordinate technology integrations and test events.• Compile and brief Engineering Safety Review Boards (ESRBs) Consent to Ship (CTS) Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), after action reviews, and participate as needed in customer engagements.• Ensure test configurations and events are carefully controlled and documented.• Capture, track, and ensure the resolution of findings from test events.• You will Interact and coordinate with customer test community stakeholders. This is a 12 month with possible extension opportunity. Clearance Required: Secret Qualification Must have • Typically requires a bachelor's degree in STEM and a minimum of 5 (five) years of prior relevant experience. • Experience working in cross-disciplined teams in a technical capacity. • Minimum of three (3) years Prior experience with rapid design, development, integration, and testing of Fixed Wing UAS. • Minimum of three (3) years In-the-Field Flight Testing experience. • In-depth knowledge of UAS Systems of Systems • RS-232, UART, USB, TTL and Ethernet Communications • How to Setup a Networks • Understanding of how weather and environments effect UAS performance • Deep Supplier database of commonly utilized components, how to integrate them, and where to acquire them.• Knowledge in the operation of, setting of and limitations of Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), electric outrunner brushless motors, and Turbine engines. Prefer • Knowledge of current and next generation Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and associated technology.• Advanced Fixed Wing UAS domain experience (e.g. command and control, autonomous systems, flight management systems, surveillance sensors and algorithms, airframes, structures, machine learning).• Platform level system trade and integration experience. • Demonstrated innovation and ability to adapt decision-making style based on the situational circumstances. • Experience working effectively in highly collaborative environments, a demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and lead technical efforts spanning multiple stakeholders and be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization as well as customers.• Advanced degree in Systems Engineering or related discipline. • Experience piloting Fixed Wing UASs Pay Rate:- $80/hr.-$86/hr. *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
