UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital is seeking a Full Time Program Manager to support the Girls on the Run Program!

This position will work Monday through Friday daylight hours with some evenings and weekends. There is a hybrid option to work 2 days a week from home in this role! Travel is expected about 30% of the time. Hours are subject to change based on business needs.

The Manager of GOTR will work with community leaders, schools and school systems, non-profit partners, families and participants, and volunteers to create significant impact in our community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth, experience in fundraising and grant writing, business acumen and will have successfully managed community impact programs, including evaluation and measurement.

Responsibilities :

  • Provides financial oversight and reporting as necessary for the regions defined in the franchise agreement.

  • Coordinates with Corporate Marketing/Communications, and implements, as appropriate, all marketing/communications strategies and initiatives necessary to meet identified registration goals.

  • Develops and maintains key external relationships with community, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and government leaders integral to achievement of the program's objectives.

  • Responsible for implementing business and program objectives as defined in the Grable Foundation Grant, Heinz Endowment and all other grants.

  • Oversees the development of policies, procedures and standards of all program aspects inclusive of all identified in the GOTR franchise contract.

  • Responsible for hiring, training, and performance of program coaches locally and program coordinators regionally.

  • Collaborates with Director, other Magee Directors, Vice Presidents and UPMC Directors and appropriate staff to implement program objectives, develop new programs, market opportunities, fundraising, grant writing, event planning, etc.

· Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Education, Physiology, Psychology or Sociology.

· Two to five years experience in a health, fitness, or social service organization.

· Experience in project management, implementation and evaluation preferred.

· Grant writing experience preferred.
