Family Medicine Physician Job Details Location: Riverton, Wyoming 82501 – Gateway to the Wind River Mountains, offering abundant outdoor activities and a friendly community atmosphere. Assignment Type: Locum tenens physician contract Department: Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Well Baby Nursery Start Date: ASAP (ongoing need) Duration: 13-week contract (with potential to extend) Hours: 36 hours per week Shift: 12-hour shifts (varied) Patient Encounters: 1-5 per shift Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $5,850 - $6,920 Family Medicine Physician Qualifications Active and unrestricted Physician license (Wyoming preferred) Board Certification in Family Medicine required Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Family Medicine or Pediatrics Current ACLS and BLS certifications Experience with newborn, infant, child, and adolescent care preferred Gynecology and obstetrics skills preferred (well woman care, prenatal care, deliveries, procedures) Ability to provide both inpatient and outpatient pediatric care Physician Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive family medicine care, including pediatric and well baby nursery coverage Manage patient encounters (1-5 per shift) for newborns, children, and adolescents Provide gynecological and obstetric care as needed (preferred) Perform newborn resuscitation and inpatient/outpatient pediatric care Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Apply now to join our healthcare team in Riverton, Wyoming and make a difference in family medicine and pediatric care!
