Mental Health Therapist (Licensed Professional Counselor/Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Pre-Licensed)
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a provider, you will be responsible for providing individual therapy to those managing anxiety and trauma. Training in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments is strongly preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations to determine the needs of clients.
- Provide therapy to clients with mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma.
- Create treatment plans and set goals for clients to achieve.
- Keep accurate and up-to-date client records using EHR (Simple Practice) or Google Workspace.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for clients.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, treatments, and therapies in the field of mental health.
- See a minimum of 5 clients per week (10 clients per week preferred; scheduling is completely flexible).
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling or a related field (60 credits with courses that meet qualifications for licensure in Pennsylvania).
- Resident of Pennsylvania.
- Active license (associate license in PA required for pre-licensed providers) to practice counseling in Pennsylvania.
- At least two years of experience in counseling or therapy if licensed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
Compensation
- This position is a W2, fee-for-service role.
- $50-90/hour based on license and experience.
- Hourly compensation assigned based on length of sessions.
- Reimbursement for CEUs.
- Free supervision and consultation in evidence-based treatments (PE, CPT, CBT).
