OverviewWe are seeking anOutpatient Registration Scheduler, internally referred to as Centralized Scheduler or Admitting Scheduler, in our Admitting/Outpatient Registration Department. Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Nutritional Services, Infusion units or any other location where scheduling of a test or procedure may occur+ Coordinates with departments as necessary+ Ensures that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, including insurance and authorizations, if applicable, notifies departments as necessary of various services that may require, equipment, instrumentation and supplies from outside vendors for scheduled surgeries+ Prepares and distributes the surgical schedule and on call list to appropriate departments or personnelQualificationsBefore we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
