The manufacturing facility is the office of our Manufacturing & Products group and this person will be responsible for all office duties to keep that group running smoothly and effectively. The Office Assistant will join a team of approximately twenty individuals in the facility and must be a go-getter with a can-do, proactive and customer-service oriented attitude.Essential functions will include:• Interfacing with vendors, repairman and facility landlord regarding any repairs or preventative maintenance items• Coordinate office meetings and customer visits• Purchase and replenish office supplies including• Print shipping labels and ensure packages are sent as needed• Attend safety committee meetings and track to-do items• Pick up and distribute mail daily• Balance company credit card and petty cash on a monthly basisRequirements In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors, candidates should be aware that they may be required to have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.• A High School diploma or equivalent is required however, an Associate's degree or any additional education is desired• Additionally, qualified candidates must have to two to five (2 to 5) years of similar, professional experience• Must have a valid Driver's license and be a US Citizen due to the work in this location• Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a teamSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: There are currently no Security Clearance requirements for this position. Due to the location of this work, US Citizenship is required. Qualified candidates must be able to obtain a DoD Security clearance at the Secret level and possess a valid driving license and clean driving record.
