Job Opportunity: Neurosurgeon in Saginaw, MI
Covenant HealthCare is seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon to join a high-performing surgical team at its 650-bed acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of cranial and spinal neurosurgical procedures.
- Collaborate with neurologists, neurointerventional radiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care.
- Interpret advanced diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, angiograms) to guide clinical decision-making.
- Provide consultations, assessments, and follow-up care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Participate in the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Deliver patient-centered care with professionalism, empathy, and high surgical standards.
- Practice at a Level II Trauma Center, with access to advanced facilities and support services.
- Accept H-1B Visa Only.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board-certified or board-eligible (within 5 years of residency) in Neurosurgery.
- Proven expertise in performing neurosurgical procedures with excellent surgical skills.
- Active Michigan license (or in process of obtaining).
- DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).
- CSR/CDS registration (must be obtained prior to start).
- H-1B visa support requirement (only H-1B visa).
License and Certification Requirements
- Board Certified in Neurosurgery.
- Board Eligible in Neurosurgery.
- Active Michigan medical license (or in process).
- DEA must be obtained prior to start.
- CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start.
