HR Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an HR Administrative Assistant to join our team and provide essential support in various human resources functions. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow within the HR field, with an emphasis on organization, communication, and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and scheduling orientations.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS systems and physical files.
  • Support benefits administration by responding to employee inquiries and coordinating enrollment processes.
  • Help organize company events, training sessions, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and HR-related documentation as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Provide general administrative support such as scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
Essential Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 12 years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR setting (internships count).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow within the HR field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations.
Work Environment

This position is on-site, Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm. The HR Administrative Assistant will have their own office and will be engaging with employees across three brands. The company comprises approximately 120 employees, with 30% in office-based roles and the remainder in warehouse positions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miami, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $31.25/hr.
