AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Dosimetrist in Lexington, Kentucky, 40536!Pay Information$3,126 per weekAbout The PositionJob Title: Certified Dosimetrist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Dosimetrist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years required in specialty License: Compact or state license required at time of submission Certifications: CMD required Must-Have: - Aria and Eclipse treatment planning experience required Description: Certified dosimetrist responsible for providing comprehensive treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy. Coordinates associated dosimetry plan procedures with members of the radiation oncology team. Possesses knowledge of the overall characteristics of radiation oncology treatment and imaging equipment. Maintains proficiency in modern treatment planning and delivery procedures, including 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT, SRS/SBRT, and motion management techniques. Plays a key role in quality assurance efforts by performing radiation dose verifications with additional calculations and measurements. Conducts multi-modality image analysis and other physics support tasks as directed. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and problem-solving mentality. Demonstrates a desire for efficiency and safety while working well in teams. Possesses a good understanding of fundamental concepts in patient setup, simulation, contouring, image fusion, treatment planning, and data transfer between systems. Accurately and efficiently treats patients according to physician prescriptions, ensuring the safety of all involved. Records daily patient treatments accurately and timely. Performs daily quality assurance and warmup on treatment machines. Candidates must be willing to float within the facility or to nearby affiliate facilities.
