Role Summary:The Critical Care RN is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicates clearly, both orally and in writing, to foster staff and patient understanding of treatment plans
• Demonstrates sensitivity to patients' physical, spiritual, and emotional needs, and evaluates their response to care
• Supports and promotes organizational programs to ensure quality care
• Manages department and patient activities efficiently, ensuring well-organized delivery of care
• Provides quality customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and the interdisciplinary team, maintaining a professional and respectful environment

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years recent Critical Care experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted with Level I Trauma experience)
• Education: Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred)
• Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current RN license (state-specific)
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
• Skills: Strong critical care knowledge, organizational skills, and communication abilities
• Languages: English – speak, read, write

• No local candidates; staff residing in the following counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, Morris
