Stacker Operator
: Job Details :

Stack lumber units in solid packages or stacks lumber on sticks for drying depending on destination. Monitor sticking machine for cross ups, broken stickers, and debris. Maintain supply of lathe stickers. Communicate with bin tender, Tallier and forklift operator. Inspect end stacker every day Perform light maintenance as required, and recognize possible problems to be communicated to maintenance Qualifications High school diploma or GED or 3 months related experience Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
