The Deputy Director of Human Services performs advanced professional and managerial work in planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating assigned programs and administration of the department. Oversees Human Services departmental functions and community-based youth and family services, Community Attention Foster Families, nonprofit funding process, youth opportunity programming, housing navigation, financial relief services, crisis response, and/or other services. Reports to the Director of Human Services. This Deputy Director will be assigned to Adult Services, including Community Connector programs and the ANCHOR Team, as well as mental health and substance use crisis response. Serving as a subject matter expert in mental health, substance use, crisis response, housing and self-sufficiency, trauma-informed care, and re-entry.
