- Manage end-to-end operational processes for credit investment transactions, including trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation.
- Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, credit analysts, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure smooth deal flow and accurate reporting.
- Oversee the monitoring of credit portfolios, including covenant tracking, risk exposure analysis, and performance metrics.
- Develop and implement operational controls and best practices to mitigate risks and improve efficiency.
- Coordinate due diligence and documentation processes for new investments and portfolio monitoring.
- Maintain strong relationships with external counterparties, custodians, trustees, and other service providers.
- Support the preparation of internal and external reports, audits, and regulatory filings.
- Lead and mentor junior operations staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Drive automation and technology initiatives to enhance operational workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in credit investment operations, middle office, or similar roles within private equity, credit funds, or asset management firms.
- Strong understanding of credit instruments, loan structures, and investment lifecycle management.
- Proficiency with investment management systems, portfolio management software, and Microsoft Excel.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
