RESPONSIBILITES:Responsible for the processing and documentation of internal and customer scrap refines in accordance with established standard operation procedures, including:Participation in the receipt of customer and internal scrap comparing contents with advised weights and descriptions. The electric induction and gas melting of scrap when necessary for sampling and/or granulation for refining. Operates all equipment in sweeps preparation area including: incinerator, ball mills, hammer mills, screen, blenders etc. Preparation and documentation (computer entry) of samples for the assay lab. Organization and documentation for accumulated scrap material in storage for further disposition and inventory control. REQUIREMENTS:High School Diploma and/or GED.
