We are seeking a CDL B Driver in Kankakee, Illinois, working the 1st shift. Job Title: CDL B Driver Job City: Kankakee Job State: Illinois Shift: 1st Shift Pay Rate: $23.00 - $24.00/hr (based on experience) This position comes with competitive pay, great benefits, and room to advance. Compensation Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00/hr Overtime Pay: Paid after 40 hours What You'll Do Drive a flatbed truck with manual transmission Assist in loading truck with a forklift or by hand Unload at each stop using a boom crane and some hand unloading Lift up to 90 lbs. on a regular basis Perform local travel within a 50-mile radius of the branch Engage in warehouse duties when not driving, including loading, unloading, pulling customer orders, and basic warehouse upkeep Schedule Hourly Commitment: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 4:00 pm or until done Saturdays from 7 am to 11 am during busy season Overtime: 2-5 hours a week when needed What We're Looking For Minimum 1 year as a CDL B Driver Valid CDL B Driver's License 1 year of delivery experience Warehouse experience Hands-on loading and unloading experience Forklift experience is a plus (training will be provided) Boom crane experience is a plus (training will be provided) Why You'll Love Working With Us Healthcare, Dental, and Vision insurance Life Insurance Long-term Disability 401K with company match PTO and Holiday pay Profit sharing bonuses and year-end bonuses End-of-year shut down for a week with pay Eligible for promotions and pay increases Pace Driver's, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
