Dietary Aide/Porter

Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods. Serve and deliver food to residents as required. Maintain cleanliness of dining areas as assigned. Properly store food utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage. Transport/deliver food/beverage items to assigned residents. Assist Lead Porter or other staff in lifting or transporting large utilities within the kitchen area. Load/operate dishwasher machine. Ensure proper temperature, chemical supplies, and clean water levels are maintained for proper sanitation Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or healthcare environment preferred. Excellent communication skills. Must be courteous and friendly at all times. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand on your feet for 8 hours or longer.
