The Faculty Practice Coordinator performs a variety of tasks including providing excellent customer/patient services via phone and in person; insurance verification and enters patient information into epic system. Responsibilities 1. Provide clerical, reception and telephone support 2. Manage faculty practice appointments, schedule patients for providers, check in and check out 3. Collect patient demographics and insurance information and enter into Epic system 4. Verify patients insurance coverage prior to patients appointment and advise patient of any insurance referrals needed 5. Acquire insurance authorizations if required 6. Prepare and collect completed new patient forms, scan all documents and upload to EMR 7. Collect patient copayments/coinsurance/deductible/account balance, post in the system, and prepare TOS deposits for Sinai Central 8. May initiate reminder calls for next day appointments 9.
