The Aerospace/ Mechanical Engineer will work with ATI personnel to provide on-site, engineering fabrication, research, development and test support to DIA/ ST/ REPD at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station (CCSFS), Florida. They focus on designing, developing and machining specialized and/or one of a kind components required to integrate unique sensing technologies into various collection platforms. Responsibilities:Design and produce unique and specialized parts using a variety of materials and machines including but not limited to 3 D printers, CNC, water jets, CNC router. Coordinate outsourcing of fabrication to other organizations as needed/directed. Provide QC/ QA to parts produced in house and/or externally. Provide support for in-house technology initiatives and for assessment and monitoring of the adequacy and feasibility of technical proposals and on-going projects by other parties in Government, academia and industry.
