Reporting to the Correctional Associate Warden for Programs, this position serves as the Recreation Coordinator. They are responsible for the overall recreational program for offenders in a state prison facility and must ensure that performance-based standards and expected practices are established and met. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:Developing, Implementing, and maintaining the recreational program to include accountability of compliance for accreditation. Developing a comprehensive annual recreation plan to promote the physical, mental, emotional, and social well-being of the population. Recreation planning will include leisure time activities, structured activities, special activities and recognition activities that involve both the facility and the community.
