The Shipping Clerk helps make sure materials and products are packed, labeled, and shipped correctly. This role supports daily shipping tasks by working with supervisors to plan shipments, load and unload trucks, check and count items, and keep inventory records using a computer system. Shift: 2 pm-10:30 pm (2nd Shift) Monday - Friday - Shifts subject to change due to Union promotion process Location: 8525 Page Ave Climate: Semi-Temperature Controlled - This position is a full time direct hire position and follows STERIS bi-weekly pay policy - What You'l Do: Assist supervisor in outlining daily shipping schedule and supervisor in the contacting of various truck lines for pickup of freight. Assists in loading outbound LTL shipments either through drayage or direct outbound truck lines by directing the fork truck to bring correct material.
