The Lifelong Health Protection Officer works under the direction of the Supervisor. The officer performs functions to protect facility and personnel from property loss and criminal activity. Provides services and assistance, as outlined by policies and procedures and directed by Management, to make the facility safe for employees, patients, residents, and visitors and to meet the expectations of Riverside Health. What you will do. Monitor fire, intrusion, duress, life alerts, Wanderguard, and security alarm systems and respond as appropriate. Maintain a working knowledge of Genetec access and video system and Worxhub. Function in emergency circumstances as directed. Operate communications equipment in keeping with assigned duties. Maintain positive public relations with the community. Escort employees, visitors, and residents as requested. Assist with transportation and lifting of residents as requested.
