Extruder Operator (Trainee) - Night Shift

How you'll perform the role. Beginning as an Extrusion Operator Trainee, you will learn the basics. Then you will begin to understand the production systems we use, learn about film quality and food quality, resins, customer specifications, packaging, and many more critical items on your way to becoming a successful Operator. Items include but are not limited to: Reviews production orders and stages all raw materials. Removes finished good from production area and prepares/packages and palletizes film rolls according to order specification. Completes/inspects/labels finished goods, WIP, and scrap requirements as specified. Completes inventory processing to account for finished goods, WIP, raw materials, packaging supplies and scrap materials. Enters work order data/move tickets into production system via scan, data entry, or similar means. Ensures finished goods packaging is free of defects and meets shipping requirements.
