Bowdoin College is seeking a Groundskeeper to help maintain the campus grounds and ensure that all assigned areas meet the Colleges standards for aesthetics and safety. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing groundskeeping tasks using gas-powered and handheld equipment, tools, and machinery Ensuring assigned areas consistently meet aesthetic and safety standards Operating and performing general maintenance on College vehicles and machines (e.g., trucks, vans, sweepers, riding mowers) Assisting with ice arena maintenance as needed Demonstrating responsibility for workplace safety by practicing safe and effective work habits, following safety programs and protocols, recognizing and reporting hazards, and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Compensation: Hourly rate for this position is $19.05 per hour (this role is eligible for overtime and shift differentials) New employees at Bowdoin will receive a $500 Sign-Bonus ( paid at first check ...Groundskeeper, High School, General Maintenance, Insurance
