The Director of Civil Rights Compliance and Campus Title IX Coordinator will provide institutional leadership and oversight of Colleges efforts to respond to acts of reported discrimination or harassment. The director will ensure institutional compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972, and the Maine Human Rights Act. In addition, this position will ensure compliance with other federal, state and local laws, ordinances and applicable guidance of sexual harassment, gender-based violence, discrimination based on race, religion, sexual orientation and national origin among other identifiable characteristics or identities. The director will report to the senior vice president for inclusion and diversity and will work within the larger office of inclusion and diversity which has, as its charge, the responsibility to build a sense of belonging and ensure members of the Bowdoin community ...Civil, Director, Compliance, Coordinator, Diversity, Management, Education
