Patient Registration Associate - Primary Care

Performs full range of duties related to processing patient information for visits which may include: reception, registration, charge capture and charge entry, appointment scheduling, medical records management and telephone management. Responsible for accurate and timely input of collected information into the hospital information systems. Maintains confidentiality of all patient accounts, appointments, medical records and inter-departmental issues. Focuses on displaying patient-family centered care, upholding the ICARE Values and Promise Standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greeting all patients and visitors with the highest level of professionalism; patient check in/check out; registration of all patients into information systems; high volume of telephone calls involving triage of phone calls to the appropriate person/department; scheduling patients for appointments, tests, and procedures using hospital scheduling system; collecting demographic information; i...Patient, Registration, Associate, Processing, Healthcare, Information, Medical
