The typical day is busy in a group home. Staff administer medications and help residents manage symptoms of their illness. Residents have chores to perform, and those who can manage it clean their rooms themselves. Educational and Professional Bachelors degree in psychology or related field. Ability to pass a Medication Training Class. Ability to pass medication upon certification. Responsibilities Ensure safety and well-fare of all residents and clients. Follow appropriate procedures for emergency response Notify on-call manager immediately of any urgent/emergent issues or incidents Treats all residents and colleagues in a positive and professional manner Primary functions include activities in which incumbent must convey detailed or important spoken instructions to clients, and coworkers Assist with in-office paperwork, data entry and/or copying Assist with consumer file maintenance.
