In this role, you'll oversee the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of key direct service programs designed to support individuals and families on their journey toward greater stability and opportunity. You'll manage staff, budgets, and partnerships, ensuring that services are delivered effectively, contracts are fulfilled, and goals are met. You'll also represent HopeSource in community and advocate for those we serve. Responsibilities: Manages all aspects of assigned programs including personnel, fiscal requirements, outcomes, contract compliance, and strategic planning.
- Direct and support program implementation activities of staff: including problem solving with staff on specific cases, files or client interactions, dealing with escalated client and/or program compliance issues.
- Coordinate and review financial information to prioritize and direct staffing, resource allocation and objectives.
- Initiate and direct changes to increase efficiency and meet objectives.
- Manage to budget, staff, calendar and facilities to support organizational finance and operation goals per program.
- Enforce rules and procedures for auditing, procurement, financial reporting and legal compliance.
- Understand and comply with all program contract requirements, including timely and accurate submission of reports.
- Supports Director in meeting financial objectives: providing reports for forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; program allocations; scheduling expenditures; contract funding including invoicing and billing oversight; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions/adjustments.
- Coordinate with and build sustaining relationships with external vendors and partners and constantly develop new partnerships.
- Ensure accreditation, maintenance and safety programs are current and accurate.
- Participate in local community activities, local and regional government and funder meetings on behalf of HopeSource and remain informed on the affairs of the cities, County, and State and Federal legislatures relative to programs.
- Support HR objectives in recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Qualified Candidate will possess the following skills:
- Five years' experience in leadership and supervision of multiple employees with successful outcomes.
- Project management experience with both analysis of information and implementation of projects.
- Experience with budgets and invoicing.
- Experience with grant and/or contract administration, preferably in the field of supportive housing.
- Attention to detail, decision-making ability, and conflict resolution skills.
- Must pass criminal background check.
