Job Summary: In this role, you will perform essential clinical laboratory procedures that directly contribute to excellent patient care. Responsibilities include specimen collection, processing, and testing. Full-time team members can expect to work 36-40 hours weekly, including every other weekend. For those interested in more flexibility, our PRN (per diem) opportunities are available as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, clean, and sterilize equipment and work areas for patient sample collection.
• Conduct various laboratory tests as designated.
• Perform venipuncture, arterial, and capillary punctures.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Instruct patients on urine collection procedures effectively.
• Carry out bleeding time tests and urine dipstick tests.
• Conduct sweat chloride collections or Drug of Abuse urine collections.
• Enter laboratory data into the computer system timely and accurately.
• Carry out other duties as required to support clinic operations.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in Phlebotomy or Medical Assisting is a plus.
• BLS Certification is mandatory.
