  • End: November 14, 2025
  • Pay Rate: $20-24/hour
  • Shift/Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Summary: The Phlebotomist - Patient Services Representative serves as the front-line representative to patients, delivering high-quality specimen collection and laboratory support. This role builds patient trust through clear communication, safe and skillful phlebotomy, and accurate documentation while adhering to established procedures and privacy standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and explain specimen collection procedures in a professional, reassuring manner
  • Perform phlebotomy on patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric collections
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing in compliance with quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
  • Accurately document patient and specimen information
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection according to protocols
  • Maintain required logs, records, and documentation
  • Support customer service by addressing patient inquiries courteously
  • Remain flexible for weekend, holiday, on-call, and overtime shifts as needed
Required Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience (1+ years preferred)
  • Data entry/keyboard proficiency
  • Strong customer service background in healthcare, retail, or service industry
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training
  • Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA)
  • Previous work in a laboratory or clinical environment
Required Skills:
  • Phlebotomy (pediatric and geriatric)
  • Specimen handling and processing
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
  • Patient-facing customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility for variable scheduling
