AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Vascular Tech in White Plains, New York, 10601!About The PositionShift: Monday, Friday, Wednesday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Alternating weekends and holidays Description: Performs color flow Doppler echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms in accordance with established protocols. Assists physicians during transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) procedures. Ensures high-quality echocardiogram submissions within appropriate timelines. Independently conducts echocardiograms and non-invasive procedures, including EKG and Holter monitoring. Operates all relevant medical and office equipment, including EKG and EEG machines, fax machines, copy machines, and computers. Recognizes and reports equipment malfunctions promptly. Maintains strict adherence to safety and infection control standards. Performs routine administrative tasks, including answering phones, patient check-ins, and obtaining prior imaging or reports. Participates in performance improvement initiatives and demonstrates effective communication with all team members. Recognizes abnormal findings and promptly reports any life-threatening conditions. Capable of interacting with patients from neonate to geriatric populations. Provides rotational coverage to outpatient sites as needed. May be required to work holidays, overtime, and various shifts to maintain adequate staffing. Performs all other related duties as assigned. Requirements: Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound program. Preferred certification as a Registered Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist (ARDMS or CCI). Minimum of two years' experience performing echocardiograms. Experience in other non-invasive diagnostic procedures.
