This is a temp-to-hire role in a busy production facility where you'll operate HVOF (High Velocity Oxy Fuel) thermal spray guns, apply industrial coatings, and ensure high-quality finishes. Key Responsibilities
- Operate HVOF thermal spray guns to coat and finish parts to specifications.
- Inspect, repair, and assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, hoists, and overhead cranes.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Use micrometers and measuring tools to verify coating thickness.
- Follow written work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards.
- Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1+ year experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction work.
- 1+ year experience using micrometers and precision measuring tools.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and 75 lbs occasionally.
- Comfortable working in hot and noisy environments for up to 8 hours.
- Must pass in-house drug screening on the first day.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with HVOF / thermal spray or industrial coatings.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing.
- Forklift, lathe, and overhead crane operation.
- Related technical training or trade school.
